About Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow is an American rapper from Louisville, Kentucky who was born on March 13, 1998. He got his start in music after releasing several EPs and mixtapes that got his unique sound out to the rap loving crowds he could reach. And the quality of his work got the notice of the Generation Now record label in 2018, which was an imprint of Atlantic Records.

Even with this early success, it wasn’t until 2020 that he hit his major breakthrough with the smash hit single, “What’s Poppin”.

The song became popular on TikTok and even went through a remix with rappers DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne. The song rocketed up the charts and peaked at #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and even went on to receive a Grammy Award nomination. This propelled Harlow to superstardom, which led to him being included on XXL magazine’s “2020 Freshman Class” before he had even released his debut album. And once he did release that album, it was certified as a platinum record in the US.

Since then, Harlow had collaborated with other famous artists including one collaboration with Lil Nas X in 2021. The song “Industry Baby” reached #1 on the Hot 100, which became Harlow’s first chart-topping single. And he followed this up with his second studio album which featured the single “First Class” that became his second #1 single on the Hot 100 and his first to debut atop the charts.

Since then, Harlow has received several awards nominations from various music institutions. He was named VAriety’s “Hitmaker of the Year” and included in Forbes “30 Under 30” list. And in 2022 it was announced that Harlow would make his acting debut with the remake of 1992’s “White Men Can’t Jump”.

It’s clear that Harlow is going places and he’s taking his fans along for the ride.
